Dear Members,
It
was really touched to have the support of 50 members from Hong
Kong and China to attend the ceremony for the establishment of
Asian Larsen Cognac Collector Club (ALCCC) on 27 June in Dongguan.
The involvement of distilleries and agents in establishing this
club is an essential sign to show that the miniature collection
becomes more important.This is really a reward for the efforts
I devoted to promoting miniature collection over the years. We
are now accepting the application for membership of ALCCC. You
are welcomed to join this club regardless of the no. of full-size
bottles or miniatures you have. We also accept non-members to
join.

I will try my best to fight for ordering more limited version
of Viking Ships from Larsen. Please join this club if you are
interested.
The
9th Annual Meeting of Guangdong Minibottle Club and the Establishment
of Guangdong Province Alcohol Industry Association will be held
on 17 August in Guangzhou. We have received an unexpected number
of applications for this event. The 300 quotas for ordering Macallan
1998 have been full in just one day! Only a limited number of
applications is still available. I believe we will receive more
application after more details of the other free miniatures have
been released. Please don't miss this chance if you'd like to

I am
pleased to announce that the tour group to Spain and Cognac France
has been formed. This tour will not only participate in the annual
show of Spanish Club of Minibottle Collectors (Club Espanol de
Coleccionistas de Botellitas de Licor, CECBL), but will also visit
a few world-class collectors' collections. It is our honour to
have the full support from 8 major distilleries and BNIC. We will
visit 8 distilleries in just 2 days. Remy Martin, Hennessy, Courvoisier,
Meukow will offer us warm hospitality. This is such a special
reception which is unprecedented. I am sure this tour must be
the dream one for cognac enthusiasts! We only have a few quotas
left. Please contact me if you would like to join.
The
monthly selection of July is Hardy Legend 1863 50ml. It
is a bottle to celebrate the construction of Hardy Distillery
in 1863, of course, the liquor inside is not from 1863. We are
now offering for members to register.

We
will announce whether lots drawing will be necessary on 6 July.
Lots will be drawn at noon (HKT) on 6 July if the number of registrations
is more than the quantity of miniatures offered. We welcome members
to be here with us to supervise the lots drawing process.
