Dear Members,
The organiser of "China Miniature Bottle Club•2020•Shanghai"
has decided to postpone the event which was scheduled on 28
March in Shanghai under the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.
At the same time, all the matters related to the gathering of
"Guangdong Minibottle Club" such as finding venue
and ordering gifts could not be started according to the schedule
due to the uncertainty of this outbreak. In considering the
progress of the two events, given that all the matters of the
Shanghai have already been prepared, the Shanghai one will be
tentatively scheduled to 1 August while the gathering of in
Guangdong will be suspended this year. This decision has been
discussed between the two organisers and we hope that this arrangement
can be more flexible to all the miniature liquor collectors
as you do not need to reserve another day for two events. The
situation is totally out of our control and expectation. The
decision has been made under the consideration of the safety
and time of all the participants. We hope to have your understanding
on this unusual arrangement.
Due
to the excessive demand of our Monthly Selection, some members
have suggested us to keep a few bottles of each month's selection
for auction. Hope this practice can provide another chance
for members who really want the bottle but fail to win one
to own it. The Auction will be conducted via Micro Photo
(
) and the highest bidders will have the item. All the proceeds
by deducting the selling price of the Selection will go to
the fund of our club and will be used for charitable purposes
in the future. For example, I would like to buy some face
masks and give them to the members in need.
The
proceeds from the three auctions have been accumulated to
RMB15,477. Once again, thank you all the participants and
donors. May your benevolence be blessed. The first batch of
2500 masks which I have bought before is finally here! Helping
others is as urgent as putting out fire. The masks will be
sent in batches in Hong Kong and to the mainland China. In
a hope of helping more people with the limited quantity, each
person will be given 20 masks for free. Hong Kong members
please contact with Ms. Hau at 2770 8398 to register. Chinese
members please send a message to Ms. Lau's WeChat (WeChat
ID: KatLausy) for registration. In your message, please state
the name of consignee, phone number, delivery address and
postcode clearly. We will arrange courier company to deliver
the items to Chinese members, so please settle the delivery
fee to the courier upon receipt. Hong Kong members please
collect it at our office. Offer valid while stocks last. Thank
you for your understanding. I hope that the masks can be given
to those in need. Surplus will be donated to the charity organisations
in Hong Kong. We should show our great love during this novel
coronavirus.
The
Monthly Selection of February is Hine 1975 Vintage Cognac
50ml.
Due to the limited quantity, each member is allowed to register
their name once. Monthly Selection is only available for members.
