Dear Members,
In the past few years, I normally travel with my family during
the Chinese New Year holiday. But for this year, the pandemic
forced me to stay in HK, together with the government restrictions,
I can barely visit any relatives and friends during the holiday.
The city is so quiet during that time, but on the other side,
the countryside is surprisingly crowded with lots of HK citizens.
People need to queue up for hiking into the mountain routes
and everywhere in the countryside is crowded. The only hope
for saving the city is to have everyone injecting the vaccine,
which seems not possible to happen in a short period of time
due to the large demand and limited supply. Compared to other
countries, most Asia countries are starting to control the virus
and hopefully we can reconnect with each other soon. Especially
for China, HK and Macau, once the border re-open, I will head
to Shenzhen and seek the venue for our next Guangdong miniature
event.
For
this month's members selection, it will remain cancelled and
I will try to resume it as soon as possible. Thank you for
your understanding and please stay tuned for any updates.

- Due
to the excessive demand of our Monthly Selection, some
members have suggested us to keep a few bottles of each
month's selection for auction. Hope this practice can
provide another chance for members who really want the
bottle but fail to win one to own it. The Auction will
be conducted via Micro Photo (
) and the highest bidders will have the item. All the
proceeds by deducting the selling price of the Selection
will go to the fund of our club and will be used for charitable
purposes in the future.
