Dear Members,
Although
the 30th anniversary has passed by for a year, it still feels
like yesterday. It has been ten months since the membership newsletter
launched in February this year. As mentioned before, if there
is no member selection, it will be a waste of manpower, resources
and everyone's time to communicate. We try to avoid making everyone
sad and gossip every time, so thank you for your understanding!
I have
been to China many times in the past year and also attended liquor
events in Vietnam and Spain. The relationship between people really
needs to be met and contacted to enhance. Being with a group of
people with the same interests, even if they have different backgrounds,
languages, and races, the sincerity is absolutely priceless. Just
like Mr. Luis, the old Spanish president, despite the language
barrier, we talked about the process of collecting liquor for
several times, and everyone felt the same way. At that moment,
we were like brothers, which others may not be able to understand.
In
the past two years, the global alcohol industry has been crying
out for help. The price of whisky has nearly halved, and Cognac
has been even more miserable. Many of my old winery friends have
been complaining, either selling assets, laying off employees
or replacing people! In such environment, how can I have the nerve
to ask them to help me with the selection of liquor? Everyone
knows that liquor management is not a business at all from their
point of view, and it is not very cost-effective to produce just
hundreds of bottles. So I don't dare to disturb them. In addition,
I don't want to ask members spending too much money during this
period, so I can only choose the collection according to the circumstances
and will not force it.
This
year marks the 31st anniversary of the Hong Kong Miniature
Liquor Club. With the support of Mr.Tao of the Jiangxiaobai
liquor Group in China, a set of 5 "Mei Jian" liquor
group were produced for our club, including original fruit, green
tangerine, golden osmanthus, oak barrel, As a commemoration of
the association's 31st anniversary, the five flavours of whisky
are available for members to subscribe. This monthly selection
